New antennas on NYC skyline

Finished up getting N2EHG all complete with his new satellite array and multiband wire Optibeam! After getting cut short a few times trying to beat the North East weather we finally connected the last connector and fired up on HF with the optibeam. Very nice reports on all bands and we were lucky to have some E-skip on 10 meters to work some stateside DX on the higher freqs as well. The antenna shows flat SWR on all bands and very nice F/B for only 2 elements on all bands.

Yaesu 2800 install WB2ZEX

Jerry's original Alliance HD73 let go with the high winds we had a few weeks ago, so he ordered up the big 2800 from Yaesu. This morning we showed up just before the rain and was able to replace it within a few hours.

Replace Motor and Limit Switches @ WA2PLT

Phil called us since he has been QRT for a few years and his 72' USTower had problems moving. After we tested the components, we quickly found both limit switches were filled with rust and the motor was on it's last legs. Replaced the limit switches, motor, pulley and greased all the cables, back in action!
